Driver Competency Courses
BCRFTC's self-guided cone courses can be reserved to practice/evaluate your own agency apparatus and drivers in each maneuver pictured below, plus your choice of straight-aways, cornering, stops, etc. For examples, click videos below to play, then click box in bottom right corner to view full screen.
- Maneuvers can be as simple or complex as you choose but, generally, plan on 4-6 DRIVERS PER HOUR.
- Note: some maneuvers like serpentine and diminishing clearance must be adjusted based on apparatus dimensions so please allow for 15 additional minutes of setup time - see VFIS guidelines and JPRs below for more details.
